Mason Shirley

Background:

I am a graduate of Chattanooga State Community College, where I obtained my degree in Paralegal Studies. I originally wanted to go into the family law side of things, but after my dad became disabled, I finished school and started applying for jobs when I came across EBA’s listing, and it seemed “meant to be” as cheesy as it sounds. During my time obtaining my degree and then working for EBA, I have been able to guide my dad through the disability process and try to be as much help as I can be. Watching my dad go through the disability process and seeing how difficult and detrimental it was to him has taught me a greater sense of empathy for others and provides me with a purpose. My favorite part of my job is seeing the clients benefit come through after we’ve finished the review process.

Hobbies/Interests:

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring nature, reading, road trips, and spending time with my partner and our dog, Mia.
