Lilly Highfill

Bio

Lilly graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Chinese. She focused her studies on International Relations and International Humanitarian Law, where she developed a strong belief that every person deserves fairness, dignity, and the opportunity to live a stable and secure life.

At Eric Buchanan & Associates, Lilly serves on the intake team. She is often one of the first people prospective clients speak with when they contact the firm. Lilly listens carefully to each caller’s story, gathers important information, and helps guide them through the initial steps of the case evaluation process. She understands that reaching out to a law firm can feel overwhelming, and she works to make that first conversation clear, supportive, and reassuring.

Her background in international law reinforces her commitment to advocacy and equal access to justice. While disability insurance and ERISA claims operate in a different legal framework, the underlying principle remains the same: people deserve to be treated fairly and to have someone take their situation seriously when their health prevents them from working.

Lilly is fluent in Chinese and can assist Mandarin speaking clients who prefer to communicate in their native language.

Hobbies & Interests:

Outside of work, Lilly enjoys playing board games, sewing, reading comic books, getting coffee with her family, and running Dungeons and Dragons games for her friends.
