Employee Spotlight: Terrance Marbury
Terrance Marbury is an integral part of the EBA intake team. When potential clients call in, it’s likely his voice is the first they’ll hear greeting them and helping them through the intake process, from learning about their struggle with disability, to setting up an appointment with one of the EBA attorneys. Terrance’s personability and innate friendliness are given the chance to shine daily on the EBA disability team— engaging everyone in trivia competitions that lead to spirited debate, always ready with an inspirational quote or thought-provoking question, Terrance is irreplaceable.
Tell us a fact about you that no one knows. Swimming was my favorite sport before I started playing the game of football.

Is there one person who has made a difference in your career? Barbara Stone has made a difference just by being able to watch her work and see how amazing she is with clients and potential clients. She has taught me a lot about the world of law and insurance and I’m forever grateful for her.
How has working at EBA impacted your life? EBA has impacted my life just by being in a different environment than I was previously in. I had never worked in an office of any sort, so being able to learn new skills has helped me in other areas of my life.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Teaching and coaching high school football.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career? Consistency is key. Be consistent in who you are and the work you do.
What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people? I am a huge baseball fan— go Cubs!
Which of your professional accomplishments are you most proud of? Being able to coach HS football and pour into the younger generation.
Is there anything people don’t understand about your job that you wish they did? It isn’t for everyone. You have to love to help and listen to people tell their stories in the midst of their hardest time of life and be willing to guide them through the process of getting them what they need.
