I know that people coming to our firm are often in pain and at their wits end from being strung along, marginalized, and rejected by their disability carrier. Having also worked for an insurance defense firm, I know first-hand how insurance carriers think about claims and defend against them. My goal is to understand our clients’ personal needs, as well as the needs of their claim, in order to build a winning strategy and to get them the help they deserve. Like the rest of the team here, I am highly competitive and want, more than anything, to win for our clients.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee, cum laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science before heading to the other side of the state for law school where I graduated with honors from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis. While in school, I achieved the top grade in my Insurance Law and Fair Employment Practices classes. I also participated in the Neighborhood Preservation Clinic, where I represented the City in attempting to curtail the issue of neglected homes and properties through litigation. I worked closely with property owners who were often unaware they owned the property, were sick, or struggling financially, to create a plan that fit their abilities in order to come to a positive outcome for both parties.
Outside of work, you can find me searching for great food or trying something new in my own kitchen. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and on the lake with family and friends, and, in the fall, cheering on the Vols.
